Scratch Vegas off the list, unfortunately. Instead I’ll be flying into San Diego and driving around there, and also into Los Angeles. My job for the week? Visiting 11 Denny’s restaurants in the area and installing wireless access points. Score.
First day of work was pretty awesome. Had to prep all the access points, VNC into some client computers and run adware removal software, and set up a new HP PC by blowing away the preinstalled Vista and putting XP on. Then comes the fun of finding drivers, HP doesn’t like supplying XP drivers anymore so I had to look elsewhere for everything. Ah well, everything was accomplished. Even had enough downtime to grab a couple slices of pizza.
I’m pretty stoked about this new job, I left there feeling pretty good and I have nothing but excitement for my next week out across the country with El Presidente. By the way, my flight comes back Wednesday the 12th at like 11pm, and my flight leaving for Tampa the next morning is at 6am. Crazy I tell you.
