First, apologies to yet another feed-barf. LiveJournal is really dumb with RSS feeds. If an entry that’s older than 2 weeks gets edited, it will re-post the entry as new, no matter what the timestamp is. It’s pretty dumb and I wish they’d fix it. It gets on my nerves. I was just editing the entries to fix the HTML tags, I wanted to make the site XHTML compliant again. Damn me for wanting to be neat.
Still waiting on replies from job applications. No idea if I’ll get anything back, I’m starting to worry. I have a little over a month before I graduate, and nothing lined up quite yet. If I have to stay local for a little while, then I guess that’s what I’m going to have to do. In the meantime, I just have to focus on my 16 credits of work and chug along until I’m done. Being here 5 days at week helps, so if I have downtime during work I can do other things to keep myself ahead of the game.
So yeah, as pointed out in my last post, Bemanifest was amazing and I had an awesome time with everyone. Being in the hotel with Ben, Juli, Chris, and FroD was so much fun and they’re all really great people. It was really great seeing people I hadn’t seen in over a year, and meeting new people I had talked to only online. Aubrey put on an amazing Roast, I had a great time at the Banquet, and I owned so many people at MvC2. I was so thrilled to be there. My wild and crazy attitude definitely took over during the day, I had so many people wondering if I was on drugs because of the way I acted. I’m just like that normally when surrounded by friends. Next couple weekends are shaping up to be pretty kick-ass. A bunch of people are coming in from out of town to party at Chris’ (Juli included) this weekend and next weekend Kait’s partying at her new apartment. Time to be a weekend warrior.
