Photo Post!

Past couple weekends have kicked ass. Between partying at Chris’, the zoo, the gaming tournament at school, and partying again at Kait’s, I’ve been having an awesome time. I also started another job which I hope sticks and can get me through for a while, so that’s always good.


I love you, penguins. Naturally, I had to take a bunch of photos while I was there.

Chris’ house party was a blast, as I had previously posted about.

Couple X-Boxes networked up with projectors make for one sweet experience. We had tons of other games there too – Mario Kart DD, Goldeneye, DDR, Street Fighter II, Madden, Punch-Out… definitely awesome. More photos in the gallery.

I got tons of fireworks pics from Harborfest last night, this is probably the best one cause it’s got Kait and Brandon being all cutesy while explosions go off in the air. The timing was completely random, I got lucky. Of course, I took tons more.

Partying with the internet, take two.

Wow, that was one hell of a party. Lots of drinks, lots of people, lots of good times. I’ve come to the conclusion that Wii Boxing is experienced best under the influence of alcohol. With teranoid albums playing.

It was really great seeing Kait and Brandon again. Joe and Mike were awesome as usual, and Greg was a sight for sore eyes even though he had to leave early.

The usual suspects were there; Juli, Aubrey, Kelsie. Soveryshiny showed up from the Bing area too, that was pretty sweet. He’s a good guy.

I got some pictures too, I’ll upload ‘em later. I’ve been driving around for a while and I’m pretty tired. Work tomorrow too.

Partying with the internet.

Really don’t know how else to describe it. Myself, Juli, setzer, and kelsie. From one hotel to the next, a heart-shaped jacuzzi, alcohol, and having an overall good time.

Tomorrow’s going to be even better at Chris’ house. Ben’s coming in. peanut, yagsimit, AxemRangers, are all making the trip in from Rochester too. And I think Kait’s coming? Not sure if anyone else is gonna come. At any rate, it’s going to be quite the experience. I was far too exhausted to really party at BMF so this will definitely make up for it.

Also, going to the zoo with Juli tomorrow, not sure who else is joining us. I promised her I’d take her to see the penguins while she was here. I’ll definitely bring my camera with me.

Job fair today, got a couple people quite interested in my skills. This is going to pan out very well for me in the coming months. I’m pretty excited.

Eh, $150 for car repairs. Could’ve been a lot worse. I guess the real price I had to pay was drinking the burnt coffee while waiting 2 the hours in the shop.

11 hours of class yesterday, that was enthralling. Work today, I hope there’s stuff for me to do. I don’t feel like lounging around for six hours.

LJ feed should be getting fixed once when they decide to answer my support ticket. Syndication from Facebook will probably work much better (or so I hope).

Life update!

First, apologies to yet another feed-barf. LiveJournal is really dumb with RSS feeds. If an entry that’s older than 2 weeks gets edited, it will re-post the entry as new, no matter what the timestamp is. It’s pretty dumb and I wish they’d fix it. It gets on my nerves. I was just editing the entries to fix the HTML tags, I wanted to make the site XHTML compliant again. Damn me for wanting to be neat.

Still waiting on replies from job applications. No idea if I’ll get anything back, I’m starting to worry. I have a little over a month before I graduate, and nothing lined up quite yet. If I have to stay local for a little while, then I guess that’s what I’m going to have to do. In the meantime, I just have to focus on my 16 credits of work and chug along until I’m done. Being here 5 days at week helps, so if I have downtime during work I can do other things to keep myself ahead of the game.

So yeah, as pointed out in my last post, Bemanifest was amazing and I had an awesome time with everyone. Being in the hotel with Ben, Juli, Chris, and FroD was so much fun and they’re all really great people. It was really great seeing people I hadn’t seen in over a year, and meeting new people I had talked to only online. Aubrey put on an amazing Roast, I had a great time at the Banquet, and I owned so many people at MvC2. I was so thrilled to be there. My wild and crazy attitude definitely took over during the day, I had so many people wondering if I was on drugs because of the way I acted. I’m just like that normally when surrounded by friends. (-:

Next couple weekends are shaping up to be pretty kick-ass. A bunch of people are coming in from out of town to party at Chris’ (Juli included) this weekend and next weekend Kait’s partying at her new apartment. Time to be a weekend warrior.
