300 was amazing.
Go see it, if you haven’t already.
Last night pissed me off badly. Those who know, know why. It bugged me all day too. But hanging with Jarred and watching 300 made life better. And coming home to my favorite people helped too. Needless to say, my trip to Florida couldn’t be any further away.
I have another webdesign job to take care of, that will probably soak up this week’s free time. I’m pretty confident in my abilities, I hope I can get everything done the way it should be done. If I can’t, it’s always good practice.
Bouncing to happy hardcore. Mmm. This music should be outlawed for being so good.

Oh dinero, how I’ve missed you.
Finally got my paycheck today, almost a week late. Ah well, hard to spend money when you don’t have it. I can finally pay off the things I owe money on, and hopefully not spend the rest on silly things.
Teaching yesterday was pretty fun, 3 sessions that lasted about an hour each so it wasn’t anything too difficult. I guess I’ll be doing more TA-type stuff in the next quarter with math so that’ll be a good experience for me. It’s with my old math teacher too, whom I respect a lot.
Hopefully going to keep busy for the majority of today, had to make a flier for the director and I’ll probably doing some work in the campus bookstore later. Maybe they’ll let me cut out for a bit so I can deposit my check before the banks close… that would be sweet. And of course, the network side of things with the administrator is always interesting.

Bemanifest Pre-planning
Just for my own reference’s sake, planning on 4 people together (myself and 3 Floridians). I’m taking a train in, they’re flying in.
Date: 6/27-7/1
Car rental (from Boston): $100/person
Hotel: $100/person
BMF entry: $135/person (unless there’s a batch price? I need to talk to Anthony)
Hotel prices are approximated if we arrive ON the 27th and leave ON the 1st. Don’t see why it wouldn’t be done that way, but I can’t be too sure.
Everything else, it’s out of our own pockets.

I hate having no energy.
My job for the past week has been so boring and mundane, with the exception of Wednesday. Tuesday I hardly did anything. Wednesday I was out and about the entire day, I even stayed way late to help with orientation, and I trained new students on how to log onto the school computers and access some of the online resources at school. Pretty fun stuff, I’m becoming more and more confident in my public speaking skills each time I stand up in front of a crowd.
Yesterday and today was a lot of sitting around, not really doing anything. I got to play with an old P3-800mhz Compaq RAID server yesterday, but Windows Server 2K3 kept freezing on install so I’ll probably have to install Server2K first and upgrade from within Windows… as long as Server2K will install in the first place. Today I just did data entry for like 2 hours and then just lounged around for the other 4. It’s physically exhausting just sitting around and not doing anything, but I need the money.
Speaking of money, someone at corporate managed to lose my paycheck. Yeah, that’s right. My paycheck was lost in the mail. The other two workstudies have their paychecks, but not Chris. I work the most and mine goes missing… go figure. At least they worked quickly to resolve the issue, I’ll have it in my hands on Tuesday. Thankfully I don’t have any bills due and nowhere to really go for the weekend. They offered me some money to get through until then, but I kindly declined. I’m not too worried about it.
I’ll most likely be spending the weekend outside in the park, brushing up on my photography skills and getting some much-needed exercise.
