My paid account on LiveJournal expired. Gives me a reason to use this fully. Maybe now I can actually write posts of substance.
I’ve felt so out of it lately. Just out of energy, out of ambition. I’ve been a zombie to my school, here 6 days a week and showing up for long work shifts over my break. Half the stuff I’m doing here isn’t even IT related – clearing out rooms so they can get cleaned, setting up shelves, etc etc… just a lot of manual labor.
I really hate the holidays. I’ve been out of money, I can’t go anywhere, and the things I used to find fun just don’t hold my interest anymore. Maybe Christmas will bring me something good, we’ll see. I still have all my friends though, that makes things worthwhile.
And yet, a day doesn’t go by where I contemplate just up and leaving the internet completely and turning into a monk. I know I can’t, but it doesn’t mean I don’t want to.
